Time is like steady wind
A current going around a river bend
Your soul is a misty fog haunting me
My soul is the sunset for all to see
Love is roses crimson with lust
Blessed with the dim essence of trust
Days go by so incredibly fast
Our bond will unknowingly last
Eternity is such a long time away
Wonder how many light years you’ll stay
To be with me under God’s vows
I feel strongly that the time is now
An hourglass flip-flops in my mind
Counting down to the days of all mankind
Our souls will unite at the end
I’m unaware of exactly when
We’re getting no younger each passing day
Each minute our youth withers away
Love like ours is like a floral garden
Roses with hearts that never harden
Bitterness rarely comes to stop by
And when it does we might cry
Cry in joy, heartbreak, and pain
Innocent souls never cry out in vain
Together we’ve experienced things beyond belief
Things that have only brought us grief
Like a lone dandelion in winter
Like ancient wood that never splinters
Our love will outlast any circumstance
A genuine harlequin romance
With the exception of fortunate destiny
But blessed with the honor of Trinity
We’re untouchable in God’s eyes
HIS/HER knowledge has made us truly wise
Enlightened our souls with purity
All love originates from this entity
Life is so short here on Earth
We appreciate everything that its worth
Our days are numbered, you and I
Our bodies will decay and die
We’ll break out our shells to find
The being who has been so kind
Giving us souls that will thrive forever
I’m thankful we are made to be together
Although the days of lives are ending
Time promises that its just the beginning
