STORM

Loud rumbles in the clouds
My soul is screaming loud
Lightning strikes twice
Your heart is solid ice
Violent rain falls from the sky
A tear falls from my eye
As I sit all alone the night of the storm
Dim candles burn in the dark
My mind is still in shock
The night is so gray and cold
No one to hug or hold
Downpour outside the door
Downpour on my thoughts
As I peer out my window at the storm
