Introducing the sentient carrot... Watch out for mad carrot desease though, once it gets into the gene pool your turnips will be barking in no time.

I saw some seeds for these in my local garden centre a while back, fancy growing them just for the kudos if not for the after dinner conversion piece.

Wondering how we might tell the difference between parsnips acting as undercover carrot infiltrators and the real deal, gotta watch those parsnips. Before long they will be purple too, or yellow just to feel like they are keeping up with the Jonesses. Ugh, yellow and white parsnips, I suppose at least the Irish ones will know if they are coming or going.

I sometimes put food dye in my potatoes just for the fun of it. Blue mash certainly adds a splash of verve to your cottage pie.

I find wild carrots around here, I wonder what would happen if I cultivated them. Anyone tried?
