A friend told me today she saw an article in the Star newspaper about weather modification and how the Chinese and Russians have been using it for years to control places that are big tourist attractions. Are they starting to get us used the idea, any one else see it?

I found the following article in my local newspaper just the other day! :O



"Alton Towers ambitions to provide the ultimate day out are reaching for the sky. The UK's top theme park is exploring the potential of using weather altering 'cloud seeding' techniques to ensure its visitors enjoy dry weather - even on days of predicted rain.

But the plans have raised concerns among farmers in the area that the technique could mean more rain falling on some fields and less on others.

Alton Towers spokesperson Rachael Lockit said the park would be looking at how the weather altering method works during a trial at next year's Olympic Games in the Chinese capital Beijing, before deciding whether the park would use the technique.

She said "At this stage we are purely interested in the concept of cloud seeding and will be keeping a close eye on what happens at the Olympics before progressing this activity. There are many unanswered questions at present with regards to costs and how to control where the water falls, but we are confident that ongoing investigations will provide answers to these questions.

We hope to take elements of the technique, perhaps less extreme than those used in Beijing, and then use them to help relieve particularly poor weather weeks."

Cloud seeding involves planes, rockets, cannons or ground generators firing silver iodide particles into clouds to encourage water vapour to gather round them and fall as rain before they float over the controlled area. The technique has been used in Russia for years to ensure public holidays stay dry. The method sparked controversy when it was used in a drought-stricken area of China, when Zhoukou city officials blamed neighbouring cities of seeding too much and taking rain water from them..."

They are definately trying to quieten a gathering storm regarding chemtails me thinks

I can't wait for people to say 'see, its only weather modification', to which I will reply 'So your happy with the weather this year? and you don't mind what your breathing in or being sprayed like bugs? and why the hell aren't we helping Africa with rain?' for starters

And very good points you make - particularly with the Africa thing. I feel cheated this year as we've had barely any summer to speak of here in the UK, and nearly every time I've studied the clouds in the sky they've looked soo unnatural. Today was particularly bad, with huge criss-crosses everywhere. And to think people don't notice or question it....

I'm in the North East Uk, and the amount of chemtrailing this year has been obscene, I was photographing them earlier this year and stopped because its every god damn day. It still blows my mind the level of deceit all around us, I only heard about chemtrails about a year ago, and then bang! I can see them everwhere. And the clouds and sky! it looks nothing like natural, I've seen luminous clouds, and skies filled with identical clouds for miles and miles, virtually invisible planes, I've even seen drones and at night a few weeks ago there was this cloud for 3 nights in a row with a light behind it way too big for a star and too small and in the wrong place for the moon - when the clouds moved by the light source it would dissapear just as it was about to come into clear sky/view.

Madness.

I haven't seen this in the media, because to be honest I don't pay attention to the media a lot

But my intuition told me this was happening anyway! Also chemtrails piss me off

The only conspiracy in this is the one where conspiracy theorists try to convince themselves they have stumbled on some big secret.

I remember watching a BBC program about weather modification at lest 30 years ago. The program showed how the Russians seeded the clouds every may day to stop it raining for the may day parade in red square.

Still that said the people who think that every time they see a white trail behind a plane its spraying are nuts.
