Hmm, this is one of my favourite dishes of all time and can be made within 15 minutes.. This is just for one person, so multiply the ingredients as you see fit.

Ingredients..

2 Handful's Pasta (Any kind)
Extra virgin olive oil
Small cup dry white wine
Small cup whipping cream
10 Average size mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
Salt
Fresh parsley

Set the pasta away in salted water and a drizzle of oil

Slice 10 average sized mushroom and dice the garlic

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in the pan until it is just about smoking and then add the mushrooms and a bit of salt..

Saute for about 3 mins until just cooked and then add and stir in the garlic for 30 seconds and put to one side.

When pasta is just about cooked, drain and add to the mushrooms and garlic and put back on the heat and stir for 30 secs roughly.

Once the pasta has soaked up the remaining fat, then add the wine and cream and an extra bit of salt.

Cook it on a high heat until it reduces. Roughly 4-5 mins, stirring regularly from the edge of the pan inwards, so as not to break the pasta.

When ready, stir in the fresh chopped parsley and serve. Done.. And enjoy Very Happy

P.s... If you want it to look nice, then use multi coloured pasta..

A guy goes to New York to work.
He does not know how to speak english.
Everyday he would ask for "bread and butter", only words he knew.
after a month he meets a friend from his country.
he tells him: "why don't you ask for a hot dog?"
"Hey that's what I will do!"
The following day, when he is asked what he wants he says:

"A Hotdog please"

The waiter asks: "would that be with mustard or without mustard sir?"

"Ermrr, Bread and butter"....

Laughing Very Happy Very Happy Cool

A fine naked fellow’s pretty awesome bread:

½ cup of warm water
Mix w/ 1 tsp of honey
And 1 packet of yeast

Let rise for 10 minutes.

mix
3 cups of warm water
½ cup of honey
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp vinegar
½ cup of vegetable oil
2 cups of flour
And risen yeast
In a large mixing bowl
Mix until yeast and flour are absorbed.
Mixing is a pain in the ass, unless you have an electric mixer.

Now add in flour a cup at a time until you have a good dough.
Knead the dough until it is be smooth and elastic.
Flour absorbency varies but it usually takes for me, approximately 9 cups of flour.
Yours might vary slightly maybe?

Grease large bowl place dough inside and cover w/ towel to rise.

Let rise 1 hour in warm place.
Then punch down dough.

Let rise another hour.
Punch down again.

Halve dough and shape into 2 loaves.
Set loaves on a baking sheet n cover and let rise 3rd hour.

Pre heat the oven to 400. Finally bake loaves for 30 minutes.

After the initial mixing and kneading, most of the time is just waiting.
I usually find it prudent to use it as an opportunity to do my dishes, solve mysteries,
rain dance, read a book, impersonate a clergy man, and time travel.

Enjoy! Smile

This is my favourite bread recipe.

Soda Bread

ingredients
2 cup plain flour
1 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
1 1/2 cup milk
flour to sprinkle

method
1. Mix flour, cream of tartar, salt and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Add the milk and mix to a smooth soft dough.

2. Knead gently on a lightly floured surface, then shape into any shape you like best, I do 2 round ones.

3. Place on the baking tray.

4. Sprinkle with flour and bake in a hot oven for 35 minutes. Oven temperature 220°C, 425°F, gas 7.
If you want it less crusty you can do it at 190°C for 40 mins.
