Now here's a site that I used to love, Demonoid, the world's best bittorent tracker.

This is what's left of it!



Not really the biggest and the best now is it? I loved that site, used to go on there all the time until about 3 weeks ago they took it offline, according to something I read they had their webspace banned for legal reasons in Canada. Real shame that it's gone, the choice of files on there, the amount of great people that used the site, the way it was run and it didn't require you to seed all the time like some others means we've had a great loss in the whole of the bittorrent community...

I don't think we'll see it again now, certainly not for a long time, unless it suddenly were to 'pop' up again unexpected

Rest in peace Demonoid, we'll all miss you!

Well...things change all the time, sometimes its best to move along wherever these changes take you and never look back. Although I have invested a great deal of my time and money in things related to the internet, I wouldn't mind, for example, if someday it will simply be closed, because maybe, just maybe it wouldn't be bad thing after all. It would force all the geeks such as myself go out more often and make new friends through other, more natural means.

By the way www.isohunt.com is the site I usually get my torrents from.

I had about 6 torrents on the go that were from demonoid and are incomplete because of it being shut down. Not knowing that much about how it all works, I will say that I was a tad miffed when they all stopped. Oh well, the music torrents can be found elsewhere, so as unfortunate as it is that demonoid has been shut down, it is mostly an inconvenience. It really shows what those in authority truly are all about though, and how they are looking to control everything and everyone.

I know, it's such a shame. I have still got a few torrents going from demonoid. Luckily they were also put on the pirate bay so I switched the torrent files over instead of demonoid and carried on downloading. I'd put some of my own torrents on demonoid for a while there'd been a few on there that I'd worked hard to make! One that I made was for a DVD containing music videos and that took me days to produce, it was great when I'd finished it and really took off on there, something like over 1000 copies went out on there Sure had some fun watching all the leechers with that, no wonder they've taken it down, it must have been causing so much damage to the record industry but who cares anyway? Fuck 'em!
