Okay....I just finished Resident Evil Extinction. Hmmmm. Milla Jovovich has awesome mind powers thanks to the crooked Umbrella Corporation. HAHA! I love this!! Why?! I dunno but I give it a
Kick arse! I am only slightly disappointed because the movies do not follow the game.... It would have been interesting to see Miss Ada Wong doing her thang! Damn!

saw 'children of men' again the other night. still the best movie i've seen in two years.
really great storyline, clever script, well shot rich with allegory and allusion. 5 stars. i am reminded of a passage from the tao te ching:
Quote:
FIFTY-FIVE
He who is filled with Virtue is like a newborn child.
Wasps and serpents will not sing him;
Wild beasts will not pounce upon him;
He will not be attacked by birds of prey.
His bones are soft, his muscles weak,
But his grip is firm.
He has not experienced the union of man and woman, but is whole.
His manhood is strong.
He screams all day without becoming hoarse.
This is perfect harmony.
Knowing harmony is constancy.
Knowing constancy is enlightenment.
It is not wise to rush about.
Controlling the breath causes strain.
If too much energy is used, exhaustion follows.
This is not the way of Tao.
Whatever is contrary to Tao will not last long.

A genius is like a baby,
so innocent that scorpions, beasts, vultures won't harm him.
His body is flexible but his grip is strong;
his doesn't know sex but he feels it;
he can cry all day and still not exhausted;
it's because he is full of the energy of life,
and the harmony of the nature.
To know harmony is to know eternity;
To know eternity is to know nature.
Seeking comfort and extravagance leads to disaster;
Following desire is like suicide.
Anything if grows too strong will become weak and old--
Not the way of Tao--and soon will die.

A person filled with the power of Tao
is like a baby boy:
bees can't sting him,
wild beasts can't attack him.
A baby has soft bones
and weak muscles,
but a firm grip.
He hasn't had sex,
but he can get an erection.
That's because he's got lots of energy.
He can cry all day
and never lose his voice.
That's because he's at one with his world.
If you're at one with the world,
you know constancy.
And if you know constancy,
you've been enlightened.
It's not healthy
to try to prolong your life.
It's unnatural to impose the mind's will
upon the body.
People waste time and energy
trying to be strong or beautiful,
and their strength and beauty fade.
They've lost touch with Tao,
and when you lose touch with Tao,
you might as well be dead.
Another good one with Clive Owen is: Beyond Borders!!!
I also remember a couple of older ones: Heaven And Earth and Night On Earth are good! A real good anmation, very funny, is Diskworld.
But my all time favorite is The Goods Must Be Crazy ( the first)!!!!!!!!
WOW!!! Check it out!! I managed to watch quite a bit of movies lately....
Trade - This is a MUST SEE!!! An independent film starring Kevin Kline as a detective investigating the deep dark atrocities of human trafficking. Finally, a movie that is intense and get your gears going!! Also a very true and sorrowful fact. A definite tissue-box-tapper.
Also... for those of you who like to indulge, check out "Shrooms". This thriller is about the typical group of rebellious youngsters that takes that trip, and another to Ireland. Spooky. Are the grisly visions real..?!.Makes you wonder if ithis film is meant to discourage the usage of the li'l funguys....mmmmm
