For Essaouira!!
When I close my eyes,
I´m back within your wall´s.
I walk down your alley´s.
I float down Sidi Abdesmih
and enter El Mehdi,
when you are all sleeping.
I embrace you all forever.
Do you sence me here?
There are wall´s within the wall´s,
but I see through them
and there is your heart,drawing us,
into your spirit of love.
The beach at sundown,
is a magical place.
The ballade of the seagull´s.
People strollig,
enjoying the beauty.
Oh, how I love you "Suira"!
Your calm pace,
the intimacy with life,
the freedom that draws us all.
The terasse is spreading herself out
in the midday sun.
like a girl sure of her privacy.
Inviting us into her warmth.
I look out over the rooftops and see
generations before me.
The ocean, the houses, the moske.
On the roofs is things
from the last century,
still in use.
Plus the latest:
Rusty parabols!!
I am truly in many places
at one time.

Something I think about sometimes, and thought about this morning
Surrounded by the vast blackness of the universe,
there are stars here and there
it stretches on forever
You are there floating in space
floating in place
Your dance is what shows your face
each movement of the dance
paints the images of your life
each stance of this dance
creates your life story
This is my soul's dance
If you saw my soul
it would be dancing
My dance tells you
about my life
and who I am
When you come to visit me
We dance together
and our souls communicate
by dancing our stories
We are quite like the stars
only, with rainbow colors too
Light coming from us
But in many beautiful colors
These dance around us
They must help to tell the story
Of our lives
