Too bad i got a Mac... That Vista installation looks way simpler. I had to put two disks in, and then I had to take them out and put them back into the package they came in.

Its the devil...get rid of it...wash your hands properly after touching it...
Anyway I bring you good news...Microsoft is already working on their next Windows, which will be the 7th series in their so called NT (New Technology). Vista 2 anyone?

I agree it's totally wrong to try and switch over to Vista just because you might think it's better than say Windows XP...

I have worked myself in computers before and I also have a friend who works very high up in computers, IT management, server maintenance, network administration etc.. etc.. He says to stay well away from it! The school at which he works they have to use it because the people who fund the school want it and he says it SUX!!!

So many problems that it has, you really are best to stick with XP for now. Plus I have lots of software myself that works in XP with no problems so why would I wanna change to something different when I'd get problems with compatibility, no thanks Microsoft! Laughing

By now you have probably realised that Vista runs well on your lap top and all this crap about HD's running none stop and all that is just that crap. I also bought some Fujitsu-Siemens lap tops and they run like a dream. Non of the horror stories flying around the net have i encountered not one.
