Animals are just like us

I don't know if this should be in general, or spirituality forum.

Animals are people too!
They have feelings like we do.
Their bodies are like ours.
They breathe the same air as us!
Drink the same water!
LIVE on the same earth
Teach their children
The similarities are too many!
Why do humans try to separate themselves from their OWN KIN
Animals are our brothers and sisters!
And if we respect them
treat them as such
Maybe they will speak to us again! Smile

Anyway, what do you think about this?

If a cow breaks a leg, it doesn't roll around on the ground screaming or crying like a human. When a college studied the digestive tracts of cows by placing a sheet of plexiglass in their side, the cows were out in the field the next day eating. Humans would be in bed and barely mobile.

I'm against cruelty to animals, and am disgusted by what I see fellow humans doing to them for fun, but there are differences.
